It has been 10 years since the 2002 winter Olympic games took place in Utah, but the effects of it are still being felt today! The preparations that were made in the years leading up to the Olympics were so extensive that literally tens of thousands of jobs were created in the process. The facilities that were constructed still provide the state with much needed revenue. Over the past couple of weeks we have been able to relive some of the events and there has been different celebratory events to attend. It was announced that Slat Lake might even put in a bid for the 2016 winter Olympics. Can Salt Lake pull it off yet again?
